Trump 'Political Convoy' To Cause Traffic Disruptions In Lehigh Valley: PA State Police

A "Trump Train" political convoy is expected to cause traffic disruptions throughout the Lehigh Valley on Sunday, Nov. 3, according to Pennsylvania State Police.

Hundreds of vehicles are expected to participate in the event, which begins at Lehigh Valley Sporting Clays at 1 p.m., state police said.

Lehigh Valley Sporting Clays confirmed the event in a Saturday, Oct. 26 Facebook post.

State police confirmed in a news release that the convoy will travel the following route:

  • Levans Road and turn onto on Route 329 / Old Post Road.

  • Continue on Route 329 to Route 145 / MacArthur Road.

  • Turn right at the light onto Route 145 / MacArthur Road.

  • Take Route 145 / MacArthur Road down to State Route 22.

  • Get on State Route 22 Westbound and continue onto I-78 Westbound.

  • Take Exit 49B to merge onto Route 100 North toward Fogelsville.

  • Follow Route 100 North to Route 309; turn right onto Route 309 toward Schnecksville.

  • Follow Route 309 and make a left at the CVS onto Levans Road.

  • Follow Levans Road and make a right onto Limestone Street, returning to Lehigh Valley Sporting Clays.

Traffic disruptions on the listed roads will impact other roads throughout the region, according to state police.

Drivers are "reminded to adhere to the rules of the road and plan their travel in advance" as "troopers will be proactively and aggressively patrolling the region for motorists who operate their vehicle in an unsafe manner," state police said.
